The Italian American Association of Monmouth County is an organization that was formed to promote the Italian American Culture. This is evident through the events that we sponsor such as Tombola, La Befana, Carnevale, Italian lessons for young children, teens, and adults. We also feature an Italian Summer Enrichment camp for two weeks in the summer where children, learn the Italian language, Italian cooking and perform a showcase of songs and plays in Italian at the end of the program. Members meet every Tuesday night in the spring to enjoy a game of bocce! Monthly meetings feature guest speakers that target different aspects of Italian culture, heritage, and reminders of the adversity our ancestors overcame that define the proud and accomplished ethnic group that we are today.

In addition, our club donates to a variety of charities such as veteran organizations, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Monmouth Medical Center Children's Cancer Ward, Centra State Cancer Division, Toys for Tots, Monmouth Food Pantry and Smile Train. We also award a minimum of 5 Scholarships each year to deserving students of Italian descent that reside in Monmouth County.

We also participate in community events such as Marlboro Multicultural Day, the Marlboro Memorial Day Parade, and the Columbus Day Parade in Seaside Heights, NJ which we not only sponsor and support, but decorate a float each year and march to show our pride in our heritage. We host an Italian Festival that shows Italian culture in a positive light. Families enjoy Italian entertainment, food, and traditions such as a procession for Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

We rely on the proceeds from our festival to enables us to continue all of the good work that we do. This year, it will be held from Wednesday, June 29th through Saturday, July 2nd. Enclosed you will find a festival sponsorship form that lists the various levels of support. Any level of sponsorship or donation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and attention in this matter.

Mille Grazie!
